Privacy policy

When you book a workshop we collect your name, email address, phone number, and the details of the booking itself — which session, how many people, and what was paid.

Your phone number is needed because we confirm bookings and send reminders by WhatsApp, and because we message you when your piece has finished firing and is ready to collect. Your email is how we send your receipt and anything to do with your account.

If you send a business enquiry, we keep what you typed into that form so we can reply to it.

Payments are handled securely by Razorpay. We never see or store your card details— they are entered on Razorpay's systems, not ours. All we keep is a reference to the payment and whether it succeeded.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.

We do use a small number of companies to run the studio's website and bookings, and your information passes through them only so they can do that job:

• RazorpayPayments. Card and UPI details are entered on Razorpay's own systems and never reach ours.
• SupabaseThe database and sign-in that hold your account and bookings.
• GoogleOnly if you choose to sign in with Google, which shares your name and email address with us.
• ResendSends booking confirmations and account emails.
• VercelHosts the website.
• WhatsApp (Meta)Booking confirmations and reminders, once this is switched on. Your phone number is shared to send them.
• Meta (Facebook and Instagram ads)Tells Meta that an advert led to a visit or a booking, only if you agree. This is advertising tracking and it is not anonymous — Meta can match the visit to an account.
• Microsoft (Clarity)Records your visit as a replayable video, only if you agree, so we can see where the site is confusing. Your name, phone number and anything you type are hidden from the recording.

We may also share information where the law requires it.

The website uses cookies to keep you signed in and to remember what is in your basket. These are necessary for the site to work at all.

We also use cookies that are not necessary, and we ask before any of them load. Until you answer that question, nothing below runs: no request is made to these companies and no cookie of theirs is set. If you decline, that stays true.

Microsoft Clarity — records your visit as a video we can play back, so we can see where people get stuck trying to book. Your name, phone number, email address and anything you type are hidden from it, and we never attach your identity to a recording. Card details are never in it either: those are entered on Razorpay's own page, which nothing on this site can see.

The Meta Pixel — tells Meta that an advert on Facebook or Instagram led to your visit, and whether you went on to book. This is advertising tracking. It is not anonymous: Meta can match your visit to your account there, and it is used to decide who else is shown our adverts.

You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, which makes us ask again. Declining, or changing your answer, will not stop you booking or using any part of the site.

You may contact us at any time to see, correct, or remove the personal information we hold about you, and we will act on it.

• Your detailsYour name, email address and phone number are kept for as long as you have an account with us. Ask us to remove them and we clear them.
• Bookings and paymentsEight years. A record of money received has to be kept for tax, so a paid booking is not deleted — but we remove your name and phone number from it, leaving the date, the amount and the payment reference.
• Business enquiriesTwo years from your last message to us, then deleted.

We may also keep information for longer where the law specifically requires it.
