The studio, hired
A room that already looks like something.
Studio Madrasi can be booked for pre-wedding and couple shoots. Most people come for the clay as much as the backdrop — it is hard to look stiff with your hands in a pot.
A working studio, not a set
Wheels with clay still on them, boards of drying pots, glaze buckets and shelves. Nothing is staged for the camera, which is the reason it photographs well.
Hands in the clay
Couples who want to throw can throw. It gives you something to do with your hands instead of posing, and it tends to be where the good frames come from.
You keep the pot
Whatever gets made is fired, glazed and ready in two to four weeks — the same as any workshop. The photographs and the pot arrive at different times.
Bring your own photographer
You know who you want shooting your wedding. We hire you the room and the clay, not a package.
Longer shoots, bigger groups, another day
The dates above are standard two-hour slots with the studio to yourselves, at the price shown. If you want longer, you are bringing a bigger group, or the day you need is not listed, message us — tell us the date you have in mind and roughly how many people are coming, and you will get a straight answer the same day.
